Dr Clenton Farquharson MBE is a passionate advocate for equality and inclusion, dedicated to advancing the rights of marginalised communities.
With over 25 years of experience in disability rights advocacy, social justice, and intersectionality, Clenton brings a wealth of knowledge to our board.
His extensive background includes key roles such as Commissioner on the Archbishop of Canterbury & York’s Reimagining Care and Support in England, and the Commission on COVID-19, Ableism, and Racism. As Associate Director for Think Local Act Personal (TLAP), Clenton has been instrumental in improving services and support systems for disabled individuals.
His core values of empathy, integrity, and collaboration drive his commitment to listening to and understanding the needs of those he serves. Clenton is motivated by the opportunity to work with a team that shares his vision of ensuring everyone, regardless of background or ability, can live a fulfilling life.
