Advanced Occupational Therapist, Katherine Russell, reflects on her 6 months working within a Neurodevelopmental Assessment Clinic

NDTi’s autism team collaborated with Buro Happold’s Inclusive Design and Lighting Teams, and the Assistive Technology team within the CAMHS Mental Health taskforce to develop guidance for sensory friendly LED lighting.

This report is informed by autistic experience and by what autism ‘feels like from the inside’ and is based on the experiences of children and young people who have experienced Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) inpatient environments.
