CLS Hero: Bob Edwards

Bob has recently joined Thurrock's Team as a Social Worker.  Despite lock down, he has proactively sought opportunities to engage with the community and has found a number of places where drop in sessions can be held.  Thurrock's CLS 3 launched just before the lockdown started, so the team had not had the opportunity to forge relationships. 

Bob has been able to make connections through the community so that trusting relationships have still been able to be built.  He has pulled a plan together of different venues and opportunities which has allowed him and his colleagues to support people throughout the Covid period with some excellent results.
