Our annual two day spring festival returns for another year on 16 and 17 May. The festival is hosted by NDTi's Community Led Support network and, for the first time, has been opened up to a wider audience. It brings together an exciting range of free, short online opportunities to hear about some of the great work happening across the network.
The series of hour long sessions are open to anyone working in the social care and health sector and will celebrate some of the great local initiatives happening across the Community Led Support network.
Each session will demonstrate what is possible, despite the huge pressures across the sector. Attendees will discover a host of ideas and evidence that spotlights the principles of a community focused, strengths-based way of working.
Jenny Pitts, Programme Lead for Community Led Support, said: "We've been working with over 30 areas across the UK for over eight years to develop and embed this approach and we're seeing radical improvements in how local citizens are benefitting. The organisations delivering care and support are also seeing benefits to the workforce and economically it works.
"It's about working out what's possible when we work to our values and take a 'do no harm, don't break the law and don't break the bank' approach."
