The Greater London Authority (GLA) has commissioned the National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi) as their Evaluation and Learning Partner for Phase 2 of the Mayor of London’s Sport Unites Programme.

NDTi is delivering a five-phase evaluation and learning plan for Sport Unites spanning the period April 2023 until March 2026. Our design is based on a “test and learn” approach that helps to build a Programme-wide picture of change alongside the delivery of different opportunities for sport and physical activity for young Londoners, with a focus on the following key areas:

  • Helping young Londoners to be more active
  • Addressing mental health and wellbeing
  • Reducing serious youth violence
  • Reducing isolation and loneliness and strengthening connections
  • Building the capacity of local and London wide organisations to collaborate and support young people to access and benefit from these opportunities.

We are pleased to share the Evaluation and Learning Report on Sport Unites which presents the interim and early findings from the first two stages of the NDTi's role as the Learning and Evaluation Partner for Phase 2 of the Sport Unites Programme.
