Change that leads to better lives

Rural Wisdom - A Change Story from Wales

RW change story 1 image v3

This change story shows how connections were made and partnerships created as a result of the Rural Wisdom work in Wales during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the UK in March 2020, Rural Wisdom’s work stopped overnight and the way the workers connected immediately changed. All communication between sites became digital, with Teams and Zooms used to meet regularly for planning, sharing and checking in on what was happening in each region.

Working in this way, led to new connections being made both within and across Wales and Scotland, that will hopefully leave a lasting legacy of Rural Wisdom in both nations, that would not have been possible without the pandemic-driven shift to working online.
