Change that leads to better lives

PfA Minimum Standards

A tool to support productive conversations to enable young people with SEND to achieve good PfA and life outcomes.

Pf A Minimum Standards

Despite the legal duties upon local areas in relation to preparing for adulthood as set out in legislation and the SEND code of practice, young people with SEND and their families counter significant inconsistency of information, support and provision across different local areas.

To counter this issue the National Development Team for Inclusion, the National Network of Parent Carer Forums and Genuine Partnerships have worked together to develop this new self-audit tool. It is designed to encourage local area partners to work constructively together towards a culture of inclusion and coproduction which strengthens trust and builds relationships resulting in better outcomes for all.
